Very odd selection of birds, some that are quite uncommon while leaving out others that are widespread including the purple finch and downy woodpecker. Some of the illustrations look very little like the birds depicted and without explanatory text it would be easy to misidentify birds. In addition, nearly half of the guide is taken up with waterbirds, several of which are extremely uncommon as well.
Perfect size to take with you on a walk, hike, etc. Love that it is laminated to protect it from the elements.
Have been spending time in Okoboji and this helps me to identify the birds that i see. Great and handy!
For the price I thought there should have been more to it. What was there was good! I wouldn't have bought it if I had seen it first.
