This book was required for a nursing course. It is fairly straight-forward and easy to read and understand; much better than most nursing books. I find the subject matter a bit boring but at least this book gets to the point and doesn't drag out the subject matter too much.
great book! very thorough in its description of healthcare and was very useful for my class in health care management. This book was very organized and thorough in its explanations of organizational behavior in healthcare. It may even be a great reference for those who are practicing healthcare management right now.
Only available as a rental, and even then it was fairly expensive, however, it did arrive within the stated time and in pretty decent condition. I would have preferred to purchase it only because I often lose the return information, and later am billed for the difference, so I would prefer to just get it over with and purchase it right away, then I can write, or highlight as much as I want.
I really like this book! I bought it as a requirement for my class, but loved the tone and simplicity of the issues that were addressed! It would have been nice to see the author's perspective to the scenarios.
This is required for a class I took. Easy to read, but some of the research quoted in the last chapters was a little thin, using small populations.
Excellent book for those who are new to organisation behaviour and want to have information about the theories. I highly recommended i bought as a gift for my friend who wants to do a phd in healthcare
was text used for a course in healthcare and leadership- good basic primer, easily understood, good reference -is full of many theories so is a resource, appears well researched.
This is a good book to learn from and keep in the archives. I enjoyed working from this book, instead of the computer version in th classroom.
