I took Professor Sakmar's course and was lucky enough to preview this book. If you want to learn a great deal about LNG so that you can intelligently speak with people in the industry, this book is a fantastic resource. I went to a global lng conference after reading the course, and I felt perfectly comfortable discussing the issues with other attendees. I highly recommend this as a resource for anyone who wants to learn about the issues surrounding the future of LNG.
This book is an excellent source of information covering all of the major commercial and regulatory issues facing the LNG industry today. Prof Sakmar writes in an accessible and non-technical style and covers a wide range of subjects going from the role of gas and LNG, a review of the major markets and sources of LNG, the role of the US in the LNG industry going forward, all the way to the emerging issues facing the industry.Itâs quite an achievement for one book to be able to cover such a myriad of topics and it would be suitable for anyone looking to learn more about the LNG industry.
