This study guide was very helpful to me as it has alot of examples that helped me better understand the topics of Fluid Mechanics.I recommend it for any one who wants to practice problems and understand the idea behind every chapter in Fluid Mechanics., also please note that the answers are well delivered and clear.
I don't think the publisher adequately explained that this manual does not have detailed solutions to the end-of-chapters problems. I'm a practicing engineer so it's not like I'm going to go cheat on an exam or anything--I just needed a manual to help me see if I was working the end-of-chapter problems correctly. It was only after thoroughly reviewing the table of contents and the online student web site that I realized that the problems in this book are addition to the text problems and the only way to get detailed solutions to the book problems is to be an instructor. I'm sure many people know this, but I still don't think the publisher made a good enough effort to explain this.
Great to use along with the book. Very helpful in figuring out homework problems as well as studying for tests!
The actual textbook is a great reference and has detailed derivations. This study guide helps to clear up any inconsistencies between variables and concepts. The solved problems are a great help for homework and give a wholesome understanding of the material. I recommend buying this book.
Great condition!
The book came in good condition and it was quickly delivered. Impressive. I bought two books from them, and the books come with a CD case but no CD. Not really a problem because I don't use it, but just for reference if you're dying to get your hands on the CD and not just the great material in the books.
